We're seeking an experienced UX Recruiter for a 6-month contract engagement with a specialized design staffing agency. This full-time remote position (40 hrs/week) is open to candidates in EST/CST time zones, with preference for recruiters based in major metropolitan areas.

What You'll Do: Drive talent acquisition across multiple client engagements, placing top-tier UX professionals in contract, contract-to-hire, and permanent roles. You'll manage a diverse portfolio of design positions spanning startups to enterprise clients across various industries including fintech, e-commerce, SaaS, and emerging technologies.

Your Impact:

  • Own end-to-end recruiting processes for 15-20 active UX positions simultaneously across different client accounts

  • Build and nurture extensive talent networks of UX/UI designers, researchers, content strategists, and design leaders

  • Develop deep partnerships with client hiring managers to understand unique team dynamics, project requirements, and cultural fit criteria

  • Execute strategic sourcing campaigns targeting passive candidates through design communities, social platforms, and industry events

  • Conduct comprehensive candidate evaluations including portfolio assessments, technical screening, and cultural alignment interviews

  • Navigate complex rate negotiations and contract terms for both candidates and clients

  • Manage placement logistics including onboarding coordination, compliance documentation, and ongoing relationship management

  • Maintain detailed candidate profiles and market intelligence to support future placement opportunities

  • Generate new business opportunities through candidate referrals and market insights

  • Track key performance metrics including placement rates, client satisfaction, and candidate retention

  • Stay current on design industry trends, salary benchmarks, and emerging skill demands

  • Collaborate with account management teams to expand relationships with existing clients

  • Represent the agency at design meetups, conferences, and networking events

  • Mentor junior recruiters and contribute to team knowledge sharing

What We're Looking For:

  • 3+ years recruiting experience in creative or technology roles, with strong preference for UX/design specialization

  • Demonstrated success placing candidates in both contract and permanent positions across multiple industries

  • Deep understanding of UX career paths, skill requirements, and portfolio evaluation criteria

  • Proven ability to manage high-volume recruiting while maintaining quality candidate and client relationships

  • Strong business development instincts with experience identifying new opportunities

Your Recruiting Arsenal:

  • Advanced proficiency with recruiting platforms, CRM systems, and talent databases

  • Expert-level sourcing skills across LinkedIn, Behance, Dribbble, and specialized design communities

  • Experience with contract staffing logistics including rate structures, SOW management, and compliance requirements

  • Strong portfolio review capabilities and understanding of design process evaluation

  • Knowledge of design tool ecosystems, methodologies, and industry best practices

  • Excellent presentation and client communication skills for business development activities
